This is a picture of the wonderful Loch Lomond taken from the top of Conic Hill, above Balmaha. Just further along the road from Balmaha is a place called Rowardennan.
Why not stop off at one of the many picnic areas where jet skis can be seen in the water and weather permitting you can go for a swim or just dip your toes in. The road ends at this side of the Loch in Rowardennan, where you can climb to the top of Ben Lomond.

Loch Lomond is a freshwater loch and contains many islands in its midst. It is the largest Loch in Scotland by surface area. If you head to the town of Balloch on the other side of Loch Lomond be sure to take a boat trip around the loch. There is so much to see around the Loch that you will want to return many times!
